On entering the hall building there is a spacious foyer from which the hall and other areas are accessed. This space can be used as a small meeting area and accommodates the pop-up café space during the library.  It can also be used as a bar area during functions.

The Main Hall can accommodate up to 200 people standing and around 80-90 sitting for dinner. The hall has a high vaulted ceiling and is light and airy.  Overall floor area is around 15mx8m. There is a stage (WxDxH 5m x 3m x 0.6m) which can be erected to facilitate concerts, ceilidh bands etc. There are collapsible tables and padded chairs which can also be hired for events outside the hall.


There is a well-equipped kitchen with a large serving hatch into the foyer. Equipment includes 2 domestic fridges with freezer compartments, large electric range style cooker, commercial dishwasher, fixed hot water urn plus a range of pots and pans, trays, crockery and cutlery. A large display fridge is stored elsewhere for use during larger functions.

There is a small, comfortable Community Library which can also be used as a meeting room for up to six.

In 2016 a huge community effort ensured that funds were raised to put down a multi-use games area pitch (MUGA). The pitch is fenced off and has floodlighting for evening use. The area is marked for tennis, goals and hoops are also provided. There is an array of sports equipment including tennis net stored in the shed.


There are male, female and disabled toilets.

There are two en-suite bunkrooms within the village hall building. The bunkrooms are self contained with a separate entrance, kitchen and living/dining room. There are two bedrooms; Cuin with 2 beds and Quinish with 4 beds. For younger children there is an outdor play area climbing frame and slide.
